No. HMRC do not allow substitute versions of the CIS 300.
Instead, the program will print a report with all the information you need to complete the return. Simply transfer the figures on the report onto your monthly return.

will I have to enter subcontractor payments twice? |

No.
You will enter all subcontractor earnings / invoices
and payments into the CIS program. You can even
print sage style cheques from the program. You
can then export the subcontractor payment information
to Sage where it will get posted to the appropriate
nominal ledger accounts. |

handle Retentions? |

Yes.
We have included basic retention functionality.
You can deduct or release an amount from each
payment. You can produce a report by subcontractor
showing all amounts deducted / released.
The program
currently does not automatically calculate the
amount to be retained or released. This figure
is to be entered by the user. We may add this
feature in a future release. |

software? |

The Exicom CIS Manager has been developed
using Microsoft Access. It is preferable
that you have a copy of Microsoft Access
2000, XP or 2003 to run the program. Microsoft
Access is included with Microsoft Office Professional.
If you do not
have Microsoft Access installed you can
order the full installation CD which will install
the runtime version of Microsoft Access.
You will then be able to run the Exicom
CIS Manager. |
